The Glory Gold Hotel - Khao Lak

Located close to the city center and a surf spot, this hotel has good staff. the standard rooms have a strong smell, and dampness. Guests may have to change rooms without prior notice or permission. Fortunately, the more spacious rooms have no damp smell and no balcony, which doesn't compliment the beach life.

The hotel lacks maintenance on the pool and sunbeds, and the gym is in poor condition; there is only one broken running machine.

We recently stayed at a hotel in Khao Lak and had an amazing experience. The best aspects of our stay were the friendly staff, clean and well-maintained facilities, convenient location near the city center and surf spots, and delicious breakfast. We also appreciated the available parking and transportation services.

Everything was spot on. We had no complaints and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this city.

The location of this place is ideal, as it is close to the city center and a fantastic surf spot, which I accessed easily by car. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and provided exceptional service throughout my stay.

During my Xmas vacation, I stayed at a hotel that had some good aspects. Firstly, the staff was helpful and hospitable. Additionally, the location was convenient as it was close to the city center and had a nearby surfing spot, which was enjoyable. Lastly, the hotel offered complimentary breakfast which was a nice perk.

My stay had some negative aspects as well. The room had a strong and unpleasant smell, which made my stay unpleasant. Although the staff changed my room, the upgraded one lacked a balcony and had a damp smell. Moreover, the hotel did not provide an adequate breakfast. Despite informing the staff of my partner's food poisoning, they were not helpful nor provided any assistance. Lastly, the gym only had one broken running machine and the pool was not maintained well with broken sunbeds.

Great location near city center, surf spot. Friendly and helpful staff. Feels exclusive with limited guests. Close to Similan Islands.
